After a while, Pokemon you catch will occasionally have better stats, you’ll start to see rare and evolved Pokemon spawning around you, and you’ll be more likely to find a shiny! Each time you consecutively capture the same species of Pokemon, a combo counter will start to appear, and chaining together combos has hidden benefits. If you’re looking for rare Pokemon or Shiny Pokemon, catch combos are for you.
